Configure your portals in four steps
- Match your year and trim. Use the fitment groups below. A model year alone does not identify the correct kit.
- Confirm your existing suspension. Select the appropriate Big Lift Kit configuration. If you already have a suspension lift and are unsure which choice applies, contact us with its brand, part number and lift height.
- Choose portal construction and gearing. Compare the choices below.
- Choose whether to add a frame stiffener. Select the no-stiffener configuration only if you already have the appropriate frame reinforcement. The stiffener is an optional package component, not part of every kit.
Which portal construction should I choose?

15% versus 30% gear reduction
15%: the smaller reduction, preserving more wheel speed. 30%: the larger reduction for a greater emphasis on low-speed torque. Larger tires also affect gearing, clearance and handling; select reduction as part of the whole build.
Gear reduction trades wheel speed for torque; it does not increase engine horsepower. Tire diameter also affects the final result.
Vehicle fitment: choose your group
For the listed four-wheel HD10 models. This listing does not cover HD11 or Defender 6x6 models. Match both year and trim, including whether your vehicle is a MAX.
Group 1 — earlier standard HD10 models
- Defender HD10: 2016–2019
- Defender HD10 DPS and XT: 2016–2021; XT Cab: 2016–2017
- Defender HD10 XTP and Mossy Oak: 2018–2021
- Defender HD10 PRO: 2020–2021
- Defender MAX HD10, MAX HD10 DPS and MAX HD10 XT: 2017–2021
- Defender MAX HD10 XT Cab: 2017
Group 2 — earlier XMR, Limited and selected cab/MAX trims
- Defender HD10 Limited and MAX HD10 Limited: 2020–2021
- Defender HD10 XMR: 2018–2021
- Defender MAX HD10 Lone Star Edition and XT Cab: 2018–2021
- Defender MAX HD10 XMR: 2019–2021
XT Cab owners: SuperATV lists 2018–2021 non-MAX XT Cab in both earlier groups. Please confirm the correct group with UTV Direct before ordering that trim.
Group 3 — 2022 and newer, listed HD10 trims
- Defender HD10: base, DPS, Limited, Mossy Oak, PRO, XMR, XT, XT Cab and XTP.
- Defender MAX HD10: DPS, Limited, Lone Star Edition, XMR, XT and XT Cab.
Check your wheels before ordering
- Minimum wheel diameter: 14 inches.
- Maximum backspacing: 4.5 inches.
- Dual beadlock wheels are not compatible.
- Minimum center bore: 3.25 inches (82.55 mm), or the manufacturer specifies a 1-inch wheel spacer.
- Universal hubs support 4/156, 4/137, 4/115 and 4/110 bolt patterns.
Check the complete wheel specification, trailer clearance and trail-width restrictions. A portal lift does not guarantee that a particular tire will clear at full steering lock and suspension compression.
Included components
Four assembled portal boxes; four hubs with stainless slotted rotors and lugs; four backing plates; four caliper mounting plates; two steering arms; extended brake lines; installation hardware and recessed castle-nut socket. A frame stiffener is included only when selected.
Installation, maintenance & warranty
Read the instructions for your exact SKU before starting. Installation involves hubs and brakes; allow adequate time and arrange qualified help if needed. Confirm required supplies and lubricant in the instructions. SuperATV specifies 80W-90 gear oil, not grease. Incorrect lubrication can damage the portals and void coverage.
SuperATV's limited lifetime portal warranty applies to the original purchaser, subject to its terms and exclusions. Bearings, rotors, seals and gaskets are excluded under the portal warranty. Read the manufacturer's warranty policy.

Our shipping department processes shipments on weekdays between 9am and 4pm Eastern time. We try and ship most products within 24-48 hours of the order being processed. Some items may take a little longer to ship due to seasonality and some of our products are custom made/built upon order. Each product is listed in red on the product page how long it takes to ship out.
If an item is on back order, we will notify you via a phone call or email.
Tracking numbers for processed orders are typically provided within 72 hours of being available. We do not process any orders on Saturday or Sunday.
You may receive multiple tracking code emails depending on the quantity of item(s) ordered.
RETURN POLICY
- Items must be returned within 30 days of receiving them
- Windshields with the protective covering removed are not returnable
- Special ordered & custom items are non-returnable
- All return expenses are the responsibility of the customer unless the incorrect part was shipped in error
- Exchanges will not be shipped until the return has been received
- A restock fee may be applicable depending on the situation/manufacturer
- RE-STOCK FEES below are the MINIMUM manufacturer charges deducted from your refund
- The Original shipping cost will be applied to any returned order that received free shipping when the order was placed
- All items must be returned in new/undamaged/uninstalled condition in original packaging
- All returns must be inspected by our team before a refund/exchange will be processed
- Returned items that do not meet these requirements may be denied a refund/exchange

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
